Who we are
CargoLynx is an aviation logistics support company based at Liège Airport (LGG), Belgium. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/RGPD), CargoLynx is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at operations@cargolynx.be.
What data we collect
This website is a static, informational site. It does not use contact forms, user accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set any tracking cookies.
The only personal data we process is what you choose to send us yourself — for example when you email us at operations@cargolynx.be: your name, company, email address and the content of your message.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
We use your message solely to respond to your request and, where it leads to a mission, to prepare and perform our services. The legal bases are our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract and the performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up business relationship, and no longer than the retention periods required by Belgian accounting and commercial law where a contract is concluded.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Where a mission requires it, operational details may be shared with partners directly involved in the flight (handlers, airlines, truckers) — limited to what is strictly necessary. Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA unless required for a specific mission and covered by appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email operations@cargolynx.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. A single technical preference is stored in your browser (localStorage) to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice; it contains no personal data and is never sent to a server.
